Sauk & Columbia County Honey Producers Association

The Sauk and Columbia County Honey Producers Association started as the Sauk County Beekeepers Association in the Early 1900’s. The name was changed to the Sauk County Honey Producers in the 1950’s. The Sauk Club combined with the Columbia County Bee Club in 1971.

The club meets Monthly on the fourth Thursday of the month. Our club strives to educate and engage beekeepers at all levels; from the want to be hobbyist to the large commercial beekeepers. Beekeeping is part art and part science. There is always something new to learn but the basics need to be mastered first.

The association holds monthly meetings to educate and inform. We also represent beekeepers in the local community by educating the public through outreach and education.
